Propane Service Plans

Along with the joy of home ownership comes the inconvenience of periodic heating system failures. These no-heat and no hot water situations can leave you feeling stressed out and anxious when it comes to keeping your family warm and comfortable.

Don’t come home to a cold house or jump into a cold shower when your hot water tank fails. Those are not the times to decide who to call for propane service. You’ll end up paying more than you need to. For all your propane service needs in Western New York, just call NORCO Propane Energy Services. We offer three levels of service plans tailored specifically for your propane-fired appliances. Choose the plan that fits your needs.

The Basic Service Plan covers the cost of LABOR ONLY to perform a service call on specific residential/home heating appliances.

Included appliances are:

  • Gas forced air furnaces
  • Gas boilers
  • Gas space heaters
  • Conventional gas hot water tanks

Also included in this plan is the necessary labor to convert a natural gas cooking appliance to propane. We generally do not repair gas cooking appliances. All materials, conversion kits, and replacement parts necessary to service your home heating appliance, as defined above, are not included in the Basic Service Plan.

Our normal after-hours emergency service charge is $125, plus labor and materials. However, under this plan, you will only be billed a flat $80.00 service charge. Your labor would be covered. All materials and parts will be added as an extra charge, depending on the service plan level you are enrolled in.

The benefits of the Basic Service Plan are included in this option, along with a yearly in-home inspection of all covered propane heating appliances. We perform a complete 10-point inspection, which helps prevent unforeseen system failures.

You will be notified in advance when your annual inspection is due. It is up to you to call and schedule the appointment within the allotted time period. The Annual Inspection Plan covers the inspection of the following heating appliances:

  • Gas forced-air furnaces
  • Gas clothes dryers
  • Gas ranges
  • Gas logs or fireplace inserts
  • Boilers
  • Space heaters
  • Hot water tanks

Our thorough inspection of the above appliances covers:

  • Carbon monoxide analysis
  • Burner operation
  • Filters
  • Sensors
  • Lubrications
  • Test safety controls
  • Inspection of all venting

In addition, we perform a gas leak test on the entire system and inspect the propane storage tank and regulator.

In addition to everything you receive with the Basic and Annual inspection plans, the Heating Appliance Parts Replacement Plan includes the replacement of all parts on residential, propane-fired, forced-air furnaces, boilers, hot water tanks, and space heaters at a discounted rate of 40%, with the following exceptions:

  • Heat exchanger anode rods
  • Domestic plumbing, piping, or electrical wiring not part of the heating appliance
  • Air conditioning equipment
  • Electronic air cleaners
  • Permanent air filters
  • Duct work
  • Hydronic radiation
  • Repair or replacement of obsolete parts
  • Chimney or flue pipes
  • Gas dryers
  • Gas stoves
  • Ultra-violet lighting
  • Work that requires exposing concealed piping or equipment

If an obsolete part or appliance requires upgrading, additional charges will apply. See your service contract for additional details on the appliances covered under this service plan.
